Low Country Hoodoo

Welcome to the digital Praise House. Low Country Hoodoo is an ancestral centered Black American spiritual tradition carried through generations in the coastal Low Country of South Carolina, Georgia, and North Carolina.

Low Country Hoodoo is a living practice shaped by the Spirit and Guidance of our Ancestors, Elements in Nature, Scripture, and the Spirit.

Low Country Hoodoo is not a trend, a workshop, or a quick study. It is a path of Ancestral shaping, discipline, devotion, and transformation.

If you have found your way here, your Spirit may already know that.

What This Tradition Holds For You

  • Ancestor guided divination through Scripture, playing cards, dice, bones, shells, and curios, and direct spiritual communication.
  • Protection and blessing work rooted in Rootwork, Ancestral Plant Medicine.
  • Lineage based training - this teaching unfolds over time, not weekend workshops.
  • Lineage transmission carried hand to hand and heart to heart, hands on experience, not something learned from books alone.
  • This work asks for completion, consistency, and surrender to Ancestral wisdom.

Hoodoo Bible Study is a monthly learning space where the Bible is used to teach Black Ancestral Cosmology and Ancestral ways of knowing.

This is not church, preaching, or religious conversion. It is a guided study for those practicing Hoodoo who want to understand scripture through Ancestral frameworks and learn how to move through the world using scripture as a Hoodoo practitioner and Rootworker.
